Venaht is an art/prog project led by Nate Perry from Tucson, Arizona primarily drawing from the realms of progressive metal, gothic dream pop, and dark ambient.

The project’s output is sporadic, often eschewing conventional genre lines in favor of an unbridled and enthusiastic exploration of novel ideas. This results in a body of work that is, oftentimes, slowly coalescing until the broader image takes form. Albums released in the current year may actually be a snapshot in time from a decade prior.

Venaht's debut album, Immerens, is an extended exploration of anxiety, identity, and legacy — music for half-lit rooms and liminal cathedrals. Layered guitars and effects-drenched bass ebb alongside lush synthesizers, while the vocals drift between falsetto and a sepulchral baritone. In addition to its personal themes, the album also draws inspiration from various forms of media, particularly movies and video games built upon dream-logic with unsettling elements of horror.
